让步状语从句，说白了，就是为了让说话语气“婉转”一下，让说话不要太生硬。常用的引导词有although, though, even though, even if等.
1.although和though几乎没什么区别，大家就当二者只是拼写的区别就行了。
2.even if表示假设性的，even though表示真实性的。
eg. Even if my parents don't agree with me, I'll do it. 就算我的父母不同意，我还是要去做。
Even though my parents don't agree with me, I'll do it. 虽然我的父母不同意，可我还会去做。
3.whether or引导的让步状语从句：
eg.Whether my parents like him or not, I'll marry him.不管我父母是否喜欢他，我还是要嫁给他。
I'll marry him whether my parents like him or not.
4.whatever, whoever, however, whenever, wherever等引导的让步状语从句：
eg.I'll get it whatever obstacles are standing there waiting for me.不管前往有何障碍，我都要得到。
5.while引导的让步状语从句，表示语气婉转或细微转折,"尽管"
eg.While he is a good student, he has some problem in mathematics.尽管他是个不错的学生，但他在数学方面还是有些问题。
