1. be going to 指近期要发生的；will 指将来稍远时间
He is going to write a letter tonight.
He will write a book one day.
2. be going to指事先打算 (计划好了的) 要做 ，will则没有这个意思
He is going to write a letter tonight.
3. be going to 指有迹象表明要发生的，will则没有这个意思
Look at the cloud, it is going to rain.
4. be going to 指主观上判断将要发生，will 指客观上即将发生
